British Columbia’s latest ace is Revelstoke, a mining town that is quickly becoming the next big ski area. Although there are only 52 runs, there are three huge bowls, a phenomenal amount of tree skiing and a large CAT skiing area meaning that there is plenty here to keep even the most avid skier happy.

Close to half of the area is designated as more advanced terrain and Revelstoke combines well with Kicking Horse for those after the ultimate steep and deep experience. The new village at the base of the mountain is very small, consisting of just one accommodation option, but the main town of Revelstoke is a short distance away offering a selection of restaurants and bars.
