Cervinia is one of the highest resorts in the Alps, with virtually guaranteed snow conditions throughout the winter.

This is the ideal playground for novices or budding downhill champions, where confidence can be gained on the long, sunny, wide open runs set against the breathtaking glacial backdrop. For the more adventurous intermediates, the link to Zermatt and the joint lift pass allows you to explore the easier slopes of Zermatt and the excellent mountain restaurants it has to offer.  Whilst the village itself is of no particular architectural style, although not as bland as some of the purpose built French resorts, it has the advantage of being pleasant, car free and compact. 

Cervinia is a gate way to some of the best skiing in the alps with the direct link to Zermatt , allowing people to enjoy a taste of Zermatt without breaking the bank!

Night life is more subdued than one would expect in comparison to other Italian resorts, not for hard core party-goers but there are still quite a few hostelries that will pose a challenge!   This also makes it an ideal choice for families.
