Penang
Penang is situated off the west coast of Malaysia. The island is fairly developed, with many lively hotels of varying standards and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Penang is the hawker food capital of Malaysia and a strong Chinese influence can be seen throughout the island. The main town - Georgetown has places of interest that are worth a visit if you have time.
