Seychelles Description

The Seychelles are a stunning group of Indian Ocean islands off the eastern coast of Africa. Seychelles holidays are all about romance and relaxation surrounded by the scenic splendour of exotic flora and coral sand beaches lapped by aqua blue waters, not to mention the delicious cuisine and boutique accommodation. Chic and luxurious, Seychelles holidays are perfect for an exclusive tropical escape.

The best way to appreciate a holiday to the Seychelles is to choose an island-hopping experience, combining two or more islands. Mahé and Praslin are just a 20-minute flight apart and La Digue can be visited as a day tour or an overnight option. From Mahé, Denis is 30 minutes by plane and North Island is 20 minutes by helicopter.

Being lush tropical islands, rainfall can occur at any time of year, in particular the period between November and February. South Mahé can experience high winds and sea swells from June to September. Be aware that nightlife and shopping opportunities are limited in the Seychelles.

Our Seychelles travel specialists can recommend the best time to travel and where to go for the best enjoyment of these tranquil islands.
