Ko Phi Phi
The islands that make up Ko Phi Phi are situated in the south west of Thailand in the Andaman Sea close to the island of Phuket and are considered by many as some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Made famous in 2000 as the location for shooting the movie “The Beach”, the larger of the islands became popular with tourists wishing to discover their own taste of paradise.
Ko Phi Phi offers almost totally sea based aquatic attractions with scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking and maybe visiting a neighbouring island or cove by boat. The islands offer a photographic opportunity at every turn, with fine sandy beaches, sparkling turquoise waters and spectacular rock formations. They are situated just 50 minutes by speedboat (daylight only) from either Phuket or Krabi.
