The island of Koh Lanta is situated in the Andaman Sea, just off the coast of Krabi in South West Thailand. Its picturesque backdrop of green hills is showcased against spectacular white sand beaches.  Most of the resorts are located on the west coast of the island, although this pretty island has managed to remain relatively untouched by mass tourism.
