Koh Phangan
The island of Koh Phangan is wonderfully scenic and reminiscent of Koh Samui 20 years ago before the development started. It is easily reached by a 30 minute speedboat transfer from Koh Samui.
Koh Phangan is renowned for the Full Moon Party which takes place once a month, where partygoers gather on Haad Rin beach. Despite this, there is little evidence of commericalised tourism as other parts of the island are much quieter, with plenty of places where you can really find tranquility.
During your stay on Koh Phangan you can get in touch with nature with a spot of scuba diving or enjoy an eco-adventure tour. Alternatively spend your days on the white sand beaches or unwind totally in the spa.
The weather in Koh Phangan is generally at its best from the period of March through October.
