Located just off the west coast mainland and a 60 minute flight south of Bangkok, this is a tropical island with some glorious beaches and attractive offshore islands. All of our luxury hotels in Phuket are located in quieter, refined settings.

The weather in Phuket is generally at its best from October through to early May. The summer months can see increased rainfall, particularly in the July to August period and this tends to be when the seas are rougher and the beaches are narrower.
However, this can be compensated by the lower hotel rates and extra value offers - ask us for details. The weather during the months of May and early June is usually good, with bright sunny days but sometimes heavy showers.

Tom ClohertyLast winter, I booked myself in at the Soneva Kiri Resort on the island of Koh Kood in Thailand. The resort was surrounded by a large tropical rainforest which added to its exoticness and tranquility.
I opted for some ayurdevic therapy and a deep tissue massage. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, best of all, looked out to the clear blue ocean. Absolute bliss!
