Delhi
Delhi, capital city of the Federal Republic of India. It is one of India's fastest growing cities. It has sprawled over the West Bank of the river Yamuna, straddling the river. The city has two distinct parts, Old Delhi & New Delhi. Delhi is the second most widely used entry point into the country, being on the route of most major airlines. It is well linked by rail, air and road to all parts of the country. The remains of seven distinctive capital cities - among them Shahjahanabad and Qutub Minar - can be seen. Here, museums, art galleries and cultural centers attract the finest exhibitions.
Delhi blends an historic past and a vibrant present. Delhi has some of the finest museums in the country. Legend has it that the Pandavas, the august heroes of the epic Mahabharata, originally founded Delhi, then called Indraprastha, around 1200 B.C. Present day Delhi is built around the ruins of seven ancient cities.
Delhi- the commercial hub has many tourist attractions to offer. Visit vibrant shopping complex of Connaught Place, Delhi Haat for handicraft goods and delicious food bonanza. Pay a visit to Red Fort and Qutub Minar to view the excellence of Mughal architecture.

Nikhil ChhibberI have travelled extensively throughout India, both through business and pleasure and it was there I had my first personal encounter with an endangered species, a Royal Bengal tiger in Central India.
Since then I have had the pleasure of witnessing India's rich diversity of wildlife, including the Nilgiri leaf monkey, the Asiatic lion, the Indian white-rumped vulture and of course, the majestic Indian elephants.

Kathmandu provides an adrenalin to the senses. Whizzing rickshaws, tucked away temples decorated in colourful flowers and some great choices for accommodation, it will delight any true traveller.
There are many great markets to pick great souvenirs, check out some of the beautiful architecture including the octagonal Krishna Temple. -
Amit Dhoj KhadkaThe driving to Jaisalmer from Jodhpur through the stunning Thar desert and its sand dunes dotted with tribal villages will always be special for me. As one approaches closer seeing the Golden fortress simmer in the distance is always special.
It is such a frontier town with the beautiful colours everywhere from the fluorescent greens, and reds of the woman’s dresses contrasting with the terrain to the intricately carved Havelis and the numerous shops selling beautiful carpets and silver trinkets and the camels ambling by. I absolutely loved walking inside the old town and watching the life go by and Jaisalmer will always be one of my favourite places anywhere.

Mumbai is truly a mish mash of all things diabolical. Pieces of old colonial architecture can be found around the city, wealthy residences alongside astonishing poor slums, a labyrinth of bazaars, restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping outlets and an equal number of cave-temples.
One of my highlights, was Elephanta Island, home to the three faced Hindu goddess Shiva.
Overall, disappointed that our trip wasn’t long enough, but knew it was a great start to many.
