Other recommended vaccines include Hepatitis A, Rabies, and Yellow Fever. It is recommended that you consult your doctor prior to departure.

The official currency of Peru is the Nuevo Sol (S/.) One Nuevo is divided into 100 cents. Paper notes circulate in 10,20,50,100,and 200 notes.
There are no restrictions for changing currency in Peru, although it is recommended that you exchange at banks as they offer better rates and more security. All services and goods are taxed at 19%. Restaurants and hotels also add a 10% service fee.
