Hanoi is the gateway to the Northern region of Vietnam. Vietnam's busy capital city oozes French Colonial charm and is easy to explore on foot. From Hanoi head to Halong Bay and cruise among the stunning natural scenery on a traditional junk. Get off the beaten track with a trip further north to Sapa, where you can trek amongst the cascading paddy terraces and mist-shrouded mountains and visit local minority tribes. 

The central region of Vietnam is rich in culture and heritage. The former imperial capital of Hue and the charming ancient town of Hoi An have both been designated World Heritage Sites and provide a fascinating insight into Vietnam's historical past. The area also boasts several beachfront resorts at Lang Co, Danang and Hoi An. Danang is the economic hub of the central region and offers regular flights both domestic and international.   

The vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Saigon, also known as Ho Chi Minh City, is the gateway to the Southern region of Vietnam. From here you can take a tour to explore the floating markets and experience rural life along the Mekong Delta and visit the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels. The Southern region also boasts tropical beaches: from the increasingly popular Mui Ne and Nha Trang to the more remote and unspoilt islands of Con Dao.
