The height of Belize’s tourism season runs from late November to late April and is considered the dry season.

The weather is subtropical in general, similar to that in southern Florida.


The rainy season runs from June to mid-November while the hurricane season runs from July to October which also brings potential of hurricanes.
 

It is recommended that travellers ensure their Tetanus and Polio vaccines are up do date prior to travel.

The flying time from the UK is 10.5 hours.

English is the official language of Belize but most locals also speak Creole fluently.

The official currency is the Belize Dollar.
