Garden Rooms -
Well appointed and part of a Residence, therefore you will receive access to a shared swimming pool as well as the dining and lounge areas.
Terrace Suites -
The Terrace Suites are also part of the Residence and are different from the Garden Rooms as they enjoy a private outdoor area (either a terrace or a garden) in addition to the main shared pool and living/dining areas.
Estate Suites -
Also located in the Residences, and generally have excellent views and more privacy than the Terrace Suites and have a larger indoor space. The Estate Suites also have joint access to the pool, living and dining areas.
COMO Shambhala Suites -
These are the master suites of each Residence with the most room and more comprehensive amenities including a private Jacuzzi.

The Wellness Retreat is located just 15 minutes drive from the village centre of Ubud and 60 minutes from the airport. The accommodation is dotted around the extensive hillside garden, with walkway steps and paths meandering their way to the central area. It consists of five Residences (each comprised of four to five Suites) as well as five Retreat Villas (comprised of one or two bedrooms) and four Private Villas (comprised of one or two bedrooms).
Each is immaculately designed, combining traditional Balinese influences with contemporary comfort and features stunning swimming pools and generous indoor and outdoor living spaces. All bedrooms are air conditioned, with satellite TV/DVD, en suite bathroom and yoga mat. This is a residential health retreat, offering a 360 degree experience of holistic wellness.
A team of highly qualified consultants and therapists offer a wide range of Asian inspired treatments and dedicated, bespoke wellness programmes that include Ayurveda, Cleansing, Stress Management, Rejuvenation and Get Fit. A full range of activities is available daily, including guided walks, yoga, Pilates and aqua circuit training. Facilities include a ‘vitality’ swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, indoor and outdoor gym, yoga studio, Pilates Studio, tennis court and two restaurants with menus that focus upon organic, fresh and nutritional cuisine. Monkey’s are very much a part of the Balinese wildlife and make up of the peoples culture too. Indeed within Balinese Hinduism, the Macaque, is the embodiment of both positive and negative forces. Ubud itself is home to a large population of monkeys as it is one of Bali’s conservational forested areas. They are present in the majority of hotels in this region but generally keep well clear of human beings. Westen & Oriental Travel do not recommend feeding the monkey’s or leaving food outside for them as this may encourage more aggressive behaviour to develop among a troop of monkeys!
