The island of Dominica, set between Martinique and Guadeloupe is the Caribbean at its purest and is known as the nature isle. Jungle Bay is located on the south-east coast corner of Dominica and captures the sense of the wilderness of the island.
Jungle Bay Resort and Spa comprises 35 tastefully furnished hardwood cottages elevated on wooden posts beneath the lush island jungle. Bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Morne Trois Pitons National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jungle Bay Resort and Spa is an award winning eco-luxury property, retaining the comforts and high standards of service while operating in a sustainable way.
Special care has been taken not to disturb the natural surroundings and the cottages are accessed through a series of footpaths and stone staircases. The rustic but elegant cottages are spacious and feature wooden furnishings all built and designed at the resort. The cottages are designed to be naturally cooled by the Caribbean breeze and ceiling fans, ensuring the resort has low impact on the environment, so no air conditioning units are required. Semi outdoor showers allow you to have a true rainforest shower experience. Chill out on your private patio taking in the jungle views.
