Set within a hillside overlooking a private bay of the same name is the Daios Cove Luxury Resort and Villas. A beautiful and luxurious resort that blends in perfectly with the surrounding natural countryside.

With crystal clear water lapping at the private sandy beach, the Daios Cove Luxury Resort is within an outstanding area of natural beauty in North Eastern Crete. Newly opened in 2010, the resort's architecture is characteristic of traditional Greek villages and compliments the modern decor to create a tranquil and delightful resort.

The resort has created a homely atmosphere through its accommodation, with complimentary in-room tea and coffee service, all natural cotton linen and towels, and king sized beds. Smaller families have a choice of the Deluxe Sea View Rooms or the Junior Sea View Suites. Larger families or families with older children can choose between One or Two Bedroom Suites. While extended families or families travelling together are easily accommodated within the spacious Villas, and can enjoy exclusive services for villa guests through the Cove Club Concept.

Facilities for children are quite extensive with the Daios Creche for little ones from 4 months to 3 years old, and the Daios Kids Club for 4 to 11 year olds. Concentrating on games and toys with age appropriate activities, children will have a great time in the creche or club. Both the creche and kids club are managed by the Worldwide Kids Company, and operated by professionally trained staff, while the kids club also has multi-lingual staff creating activities for children.

Adults have just as much to do as the children. The Spa by Germaine de Capuccini has treatments and facilities to calm the mind, cleanse the body and rejuvenate the soul. Or exercise those muscles in the state of the art fitness centre, with a choice of saunas and the stimulating Wet Area. The local countryside has beautiful walks calling out to be discovered for the explorer in you. Alternatively, lie back on one of the sun beds on the private beach and enjoy the Crete sun and cool off in the crystalline waters of the Aegean Sea, or enjoy a drink at your pool sun lounger from the pool bar.

The Daios Cove presents a variety of cuisine within its restaurants, from local Crete dishes, to Mediterranean meals and International dining. All of the restaurants offer stunning views of the bay and the surrounding area, and creates a beautiful environment to dine in. The Ocean Club Wet Bar is a great place for snacks or for refreshments beside the Pool. Additionally, the Beach Bar provides refreshments or an afternoon cocktail at the beach. For the evenings the Crystal box is the place to be for a pre or after dinner drink or to dance away the evening under the stars. Daios Cove is located only 10 minutes drive from Aghios Nikolaos.

An Early Supervised Supper for kids 4-12 is offered in the main restaurant Pangea by the nannies of WWKC (runs throughout the summer school holidays 6-7pm and for the rest of the season 6 times a week).
