Covering an area of 175sqm. the Presidential Suite is resorts largest suite and offers seclusion, optimum space and the best of views. The outside area consists of three private terraces with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The Verdura has a selection of restaurants and bars throughout the resort.
Buon Giorno - serves an international buffet breakfast within a casual and friendly enviroment. During the evening, this restaurant is soley open for children and offers cuisine specifically catered for the resort's younger guests. Located in the main building, alfresco dining is available on the outside terrace
Buon Giorno is open between 7am to 11am for breakfast, and 5.30pm to 7.30pm for children's dining.
Amare - is a seasonal al frescho restaurant with views of the sea. The menu is composed of fresh and simple dished including salads, a selection of antipasti, fish dishes, barbecues and wood oven cooked pizzas. Amare is located on teh beach with an outside terrace.
Amare is open seasonally between 12.30pm to 10pm.
Zagara - is an a la carte restaurant using fresh and local produce and ingredients in its Mediterranean cuisine. Located in the main building, the outside terrace provides an al fresco dining option.
Zagara is open between 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
Liola - is a traditional Scilian trattoria located at the Torre Verdura on a cliff top near the sea. Using locally sourced ingredients, Liola serves home made pasta, salads, fish and seafood dishes, and for dessert there is italian ice-cream and granita.
Liola is open between 12.30 to 3pm for lunch and 7pm to 10pm for dinner.
Granita Bar & Terrace - has a spacious terrace area with amazing garden and sea views. A great place to chill out on the upper floor of the Centra building, the bar serves hot and cold beverages, cocktails and tapas throughout the day.
Granita is open between 10am to 1am.
Torre Bar - is located in Torre Verdura on the cliff top, and provides light snacks, juices and pre and post dinner drinks and cocktails.

Gelateria - will be a favour hang out for all children with its large and assorted selection of home-made ice-creams, sorbets and pastries and beverages. Also located at Torre Verdura, the Gelateria is seasonal.

The Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is nestled amongst the beautiful countryside of Southeast Sicily. The glistening sea laps against a white sandy beach and shoreline, while olive groves, fruit orchards and vineyards perfume the air.
Verdura is an unique resort that brings luxury, privacy, tranquillity and a relaxed ambience to all of its guests. Set within 230 hectares the resort has carefully and environmentally designed its sporting facilities, accommodation, restaurants and other buildings to enhance and blending in with the surrounding land. Golf buggies and bicycles are available to hire if you wish to explore all of the land, or take lovely peaceful walks through the resort at your own pace.
All rooms and suites at Verdura offer amazing Mediterranean sea views from a private terrace or balcony. Also sports such as group tennis, golf and swimming sessions are organised by the club. All 4 to 12 years old will have an excellent time at this club.
Teenagers between the ages of 13 to 19 years old have their own dedicated area at Torre Verdura for their Verdura Teenagers Club. A great place for teens to hang out and meet you friends, the Club consists of board games, Table football, billiards table , Xbox, Wii and activity and sporting activities. During the evening there are disco, cinema and karaoke nights, and with all of these activities your teen's diary will be full for the duration of your family holiday.
The choice of four restaurants and five bars provides a diverse culinary experience. Choose between alfresco or internal dining options, casual buffets or a la carte menus, international or traditional Sicilian cuisine. Or visit the Spa Bar for fruit juices and smoothies and a health menu to rebalance your body. Children also have their own dining service between 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Buon Giorno, with menu made from locally sourced fresh ingredients.
Verdura is the perfect resort for adults that enjoy being outside, with a choice of three golf courses designed by Kyle Phillips with fantastic sea and countryside views. The tennis courts are floodlit for those that enjoy a twilight game or part-take in a watersport activity. For fitness gurus there are jogging routes, a state of the gym and yoga, pilates and fusion stretch classes. After all of these activities relax in the Verdura Spa with bespoke treatments, a sauna, hammam and four thalassotherapy pools. Alternatively, relax by the pool or lay out at the private beach with its white sand and calm waters.

Celebrating its 150th Birthday of a national unity in 2011, Italy is considered one of the world’s most magnificent places to visit. Perhaps no other country offers such diversity in landscapes, culture, food, history and relics of its ancient past. Its many faces are part of Italy’s appeal. From the fashion capital Milan to the rolling hills of Renaissance Tuscany and the peaks of the Alps, there’s something for everyone in Italy and you’ll find yourself drawn back repeatedly.
Eating out can be expensive. In larger cities you tend to pay a lot more than smaller towns. On average you should reckon on at least €20 to €50 for a meal (two courses, dessert and house wine), although you can still find basic set lunch menus for €10 to €15.
Puglia
Located in the south of the sunny southern Italy, Puglia is a place of beautiful landscapes, blue sea, golden sands and hillsides lined with silvery olive groves.
Alberobello is a town in the region of Puglia famous for its unique and fairytale like trulli houses - limestone dwellings with pointed roofs. Take a stroll around these little houses and wait around for the beautiful sunsets that can be seen from here - we promise it's worth the wait!
Sardinia
Sardinia - the heavenly island of idyllic white sandy beaches, warm turquoise waters and the perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday.
The best time to visit Italy is between April - June when the weather is warm but not stifling hot! Be aware of religious festivals and carnivals during this time especially around Easter.
Most Italians take their holidays during July & August when the weather is at its hottest in most places in Italy. This is when prices soar and when places will be at their busiest.
In the winter first snow normally falls around November however a freak snow fall in June is not uncommon.
Italian is the official language.
Euro (EUR; symbol €) Notes are in denominations of €500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5. Coins are in denominations of €2 and 1, and 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 cents.
Most destinations in Italy can be easily reached by train, bus or ferry services and are relatively cheap. For longer distances an internal flight maybe more cost effective.
Car hire will give you the most freedom, but be aware of petrol costs on motorways and finding parking in busy cities.
