Garden Villas
The original rooms at Bitter End, completely renovated in 2008, these wooden villas are built on stilts at ground level and have views of the mangroves and sea beyond. Built in pairs with expansive wrap around balconies with a double sized hammock and benefiting from the balmy trade winds. These villas interconnect via a door connecting the two balconies and are naturally cooled by the trade winds and ceiling fans.

North Sound Suites
Located furthest away from the main resort area, but closest to the swimming pool and main beach. These suites are built in pairs on stilts and dotted around the hillside offering spectacular views of the North Sound and Caribbean Sea from the private balconies. Built in more of a hotel style room, these spacious air conditioned suites are perfect for families and interconnect via their private balconies.

Beach Front Villas
Completely renovated in 2008, these villas are built in a similar barefoot Robinson Crusoe style to the Garden Villas, located on the lower level of the hillside and closest to the Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar and with the addition of air conditioning. Each is designed with a private wrap around balcony with a double sized hammock, large showers with sea views and just steps away from the small beach situated in front of the Clubhouse.

Premium Beach Front Villas
Located in an elevated position on the north shore hillside, the Premium Villas offer panoramic views sea views, expansive wrap around balconies and the same features as the Beach Front Villas. Dotted along the hillside these villas are accessed by a number of wooden staircases and boardwalks meandering through the tropical flowering gardens.

Bitter End Yacht Club is located on the North Sound of Virgin Gorda and stretches along a mile of beach and waterfront.
Accessed only by sea, a 30 minute boat ride from Tortola, Bitter End Yacht Club is a Mecca for the active family with children and anyone seeking the ultimate water-based holiday or for those that wish to sit back and take in the beautiful scenery that surrounds you.
The resort comprises 85 accommodations including the original Garden Villas, surrounded by tropical plants and facing the mangroves and sea, the North Sound Suites built on stilts amongst the tropical flowering gardens and in an elevated position with fabulous views from the private balcony. The more rustic hardwood Beach Front and Premium Beach Front Villas are located on the north shore benefiting from the Trade Wind breezes, and featuring hardwood floors, a large balcony with a hammock and sun loungers and large showers with louvre shutters allowing the breeze to flow through while you take in the stunning sea views while showering. The Premium Beach Front Villas are in an elevated position, built on stilts and dotted along the hillside, and accessible via wooden stairs and boardwalks.
With a fleet of over 100 watercraft Bitter End Yacht Club is the water sports enthusiasts dream vacation , with many water based activities included in your holiday price, including Hobie-cats, Lasers, Optimists, windsurfers, kayaks and Boston Whaler motor boats.
Bitter End offers a world renowned Sailing School, dive shop, boat and fishing charters, a small beach by the Club House restaurant and a further larger beach located by the swimming and close to the North Sound Villas. Other activities include hiking trails, a childrens daily activity programme, two rustic spa treatment rooms and an open air movie theatre.
The restaurants all have bars and serve what is probably best described as wholesome food - large portions of well cooked familiar foods that everyone will enjoy. It is not a ‘fine dining’ experience, but the food is plentiful and of high quality.
