Nikhil ChhibberMumbai is truly a mish mash of all things diabolical. Pieces of old colonial architecture can be found around the city, wealthy residences alongside astonishing poor slums, a labyrinth of bazaars, restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping outlets and an equal number of cave-temples.
One of my highlights, was Elephanta Island, home to the three faced Hindu goddess Shiva.
Overall, disappointed that our trip wasn’t long enough, but knew it was a great start to many. -

The highlights of Bhutan for me, was visiting the ancient Buddhist sites in Bumthang Dzongkhag, trekking along Phobjika Valley and simply being embraced by the magical and surreal Tibetan calm and spirit-soothing culture.
Bhutan is without a doubt ,a truly enigmatic country that has learnt to combine its traditional values with the ever evolving modern lifestyle of the world.

Kathmandu provides an adrenalin to the senses. Whizzing rickshaws, tucked away temples decorated in colourful flowers and some great choices for accommodation, it will delight any true traveller.
