Galley Bay Resort And Spa offers unassuming elegance, a tranquil atmosphere and exceptional service, popular with guests of all nationalities and ages, and is a favourite with honeymooners.
This adult only all-inclusive resort is tucked away on the west coast of Antigua, a beautiful location, set on its own bay between a lagoon and a pristine beach, with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea lapping at the shore.
The 98 guest rooms are set amid 40 acres of tropical gardens, of which most are situated along the palm-tree lined beachfront. The most popular rooms are the more rustic Gauguin Cottages, comprising twin thatched Tahitian-styled rondavels, one housing the air conditioned bedroom and the other the bathroom. Each Gauguin Cottage is tucked away in private gardens or by the lagoon, and has concealed sundecks with a private plunge pool. The Superior and Deluxe Beachfront Rooms offer a slightly more traditional Caribbean décor with a contemporary twist. If you are seeking a more contemporary style you will find the new Premium Beachfront Suites to be your perfect choice, with dark acacia furniture, gleaming granite bathrooms and a sunken living room leading to your private beachfront terrace or balcony.
Set scenically on Galley Bay’s fabulous stretch of powder-soft white sand beach, the main restaurant offers a la carte dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Gauguin restaurant provides a romantic alternative in the evenings, with an intimate atmosphere created by dining under separate thatched gazebos. A third restaurant, situated at the end of shell bay, offers the best of the islands local flavours (supplement paid locally).
Galley Bay’s exotic free-form swimming pool is surrounded by carefully landscaped gardens, offering a gentle alternative to a satisfying plunge in the warm Caribbean Sea.
The Indulge Spa offers an extensive range of beauty and therapeutic treatments in a tree house like setting, and is surrounded by tropical gardens that overlook the bird sanctuary lagoon, providing a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
