This little boutique hideaway is a gem, very well located in the village of Sanur. Set back from the beach and main road, you have a feeling of escapism, yet within a few minutes walk away you have a fantastic selection of alternative restaurants, bars and shops with the airport being a 30 minute drive.
A choice of 23 individually designed private villas, all with air conditioned bedrooms, ensuite bathroom, living room, kitchenette and walled garden. Most villas have a privateswimming pool and a four poster or king size bed, whilst the honeymoon suites are duplex style with upstairs bedroom. The two bedroom villas with a larger living room are particularly good for families.
The resort is not on the beach, which rather adds to its privacy, although the main beach at Sanur is a five minute walk, where you will find a selection of mainly non-motorised watersports (extra cost).

Monkey’s are very much a part of the Balinese wildlife and make up of the peoples culture too. Indeed within Balinese Hinduism, the Macaque, is the embodiment of both positive and negative forces. Ubud itself is home to a large population of monkeys as it is one of Bali’s conservational forested areas. They are present in the majority of hotels in this region but generally keep well clear of human beings. Westen & Oriental Travel do not recommend feeding the monkey’s or leaving food outside for them as this may encourage more aggressive behaviour to develop among a troop of monkeys!
