The spacious, Mediterranean style Movenpick Resort is set on an island peninsular, built amongst gardens and lagoons, directly located on the Red Sea with 3km of private beach.
The spacious Movenpick Resort features 4 swimming pools, 3 of which are heated, and directly located on a sandy beach. Resort restaurants offer a selection of cuisines and the resort bars include a fun pub and poolside bar. Recreational facilities include a a small gym, squash, 2 tennis courts, an excellent dive centre, water sports such as kite surfing, bicycle hire and an 18 hole golf course just 1 km away with a complimentary shuttle bus providing transfers. To unwind, visit the Angsana Spa which offers a selection of treatments, accompanied by sauna, Jacuzzi, massage and steam bath and beauty salon facilities.
Note: Due to a recent fire incident some of the Health Club facilities are not currently available (as of 02 May). The sauna and steam room will not be accessible until further notice after repairs.

I would just like to say a huge thank you for organising our holiday. It was exactly what I had planned for John’s birthday and we both loved Egypt.
Marhaba tours who arranged our transfers and trips were fabulous, efficient and gave us memorable trips to Alexandria and around Cairo. It was so reassuring to be met at the airport and helped with our visas and luggage collection as it was the first time either of us had been out of Europe.
The Mena House Oberoi was absolutely fabulous; the staffs were so friendly and efficient. When we were upgraded to the Carter suite I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The new pool is lovely and we really enjoyed the different restaurants and the cocktails at the bar. It was a truly 5 star experience and although I was excited to go on the cruise I loved it so much I was a little sad to leave as well...since we got back we have agreed this was our favourite part of our holiday
The Oberoi Zahra was everything that I had hoped it would be and more, we would like to say thank you for arranging that we went onto that cruise once the Philae had been decommissioned. With that in mind some people on board were not so lucky with their travel agents and I have recommended Western & Oriental to them. If you email me back I will forward your details to them.
If they make a booking please feel free to offer us money off our next holiday ;) as we will definitely book with you again....we felt that we could go on holiday and relax and enjoy ourselves completely as we felt very confident in everything that had been arranged.
We were slightly disappointed with the Movenpick Resort as after staying at the Oberoi hotel and cruise as it did not feel 5 star, but that is something that we have put down to experience and it did not diminish our holiday at all. In fact it has made it clear that the Oberoi group are something special and we will definitely try to stay at one of their hotels again...

Natalie FowlerThere are many highlights to Sharm el Sheikh, the Red Sea for one, is incredibly marine rich and a perfect spot for both snorkelers and professional divers to explore. While snorkelling just a few metres from the shore, I spotted some clown fish, stripy angel fish and virtually the whole cast of Finding Nemo!
For some light entertainment and shopping, head down to the bustling hub of Na'ama Bay, for a great variety of restaurants, souvenir shops and bars offering cocktails and traditional Egyptian shisha. Sharm also has one of the most impressive kids clubs, my fav by far, was the Hyatt Regency’s. The facilities include a stunning beach, canopied paddling pool, indoor play area, outside climbing frame and a play-station room.
While the kids enjoy themselves, the adults can have their own fun at the fabulous Souk area by joining the belly dancers and musicians on stage while dining from a wide selection of freshly made international cuisine.

Dhiren ShahI thought the Hyatt Regency in Egypt was lovely, it had beautiful grounds, numerous pools and even a waterslide! The luxurious resort also has an area called the 'Club Area' which is more separate to the rest of the hotel, with its own pool and restaurant, making it ideal for a romantic getaway.

There are some amazing experiences to try whilst you are in Egypt, I went diving in to the Blue Hole, which is like an inverted volcano and holds many beautiful and unmissable sites - this is a must do!
