Filitheyo Island Resort is a delightful little island paradise located just 40 minutes away from Male by scenic seaplane transfer and is the only resort in the unspoilt Faafu Atoll to its south.
The island of 21 hectares boasts 125 villas which have been cleverly designed to nestle in the tropical natural vegetation close to the beach, or perched on stilt along a jetty over the water. Local materials have been used in their construction - wooden walls and thatched roofs, but with modern luxury and facilities within including air-conditioning, satellite TV, private terrace or deck with seating for those sunset cocktails and semi-outdoor bathroom, enclosed in a courtyard garden area.
Filitheyo's main restaurant features international buffets and menus are not repeated less than 14 days apart. Sunset Restaurant and Bar at the island's tip offers drinks, coffee and snacks and Filitheyo Bar serves drinks under shady palms.
A wide variety of water sports are available on Filitheyo including windsurfing, sailing, canoes and catamarans whilst on land there's volleyball, indoor games, a gym and spa providing relaxing and rejuvenating massages, body and beauty treatments. Excursions from the resort include night fishing, snorkelling discover excursions, and visits to local residential islands.

- Drinks served by the glass (including soft drinks, beer, house wine and pouring spirits**). Beverages to be served between 1000hrs and 0000hrs only. After midnight all consumed drinks will be charged at the normal price.
