Two-centre Maldives beach with Oman beach and desert

Situated in the North Ari Atoll and reached by seaplane transfer, the small island is shaped like a Maldivian boat with exuberant green foliage contrasting with the turquoise blue lagoon and white coral sands.  The mood is one of peaceful elegance where guests can relax and regenerate in a stunning setting.

Most of the 86 Villas are situated over the water along a jetty jutting into the lagoon towards the horizon with private sundecks, while 20 spacious Beach and 8 double-storey Beach Villas and one Presidential Beach Villa are sited around the island, fronting the sandy beach.  All boast their own private pool set in an overwater deck or private garden, with luxurious amenities including Wi-Fi, LCD TV, DVD, Mac mini and iPod connection, wine cooler, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities.

A choice of three restaurants offers a variety of cuisine to suit all tastes, from buffet breakfasts, lunches and themed evenings at the all-day restaurant by the beach, Asian/European fusion fine dining at the overwater speciality venue or just a snack lunch or romantic 'feet in the sand' dinner at the Beach Grill.

Although the island is a relaxing retreat there's a good selection of land and water sport activities available, tennis and non-motorised water sports being complimentary. Other popular distractions include fishing and PADI diving from the TGI Diving Centre.  For younger guests there is a Mini Club open till late evening with a daily supervised programme.  Other facilities include a library with DVD loan, lounge with Wi-Fi, online concierge and gift service and boutiques. 

Last, but by no means least, is Le Spa de Constance with single and double treatment rooms for eastern, western and Ayurvedic treatments, spa bath, chill pool, sauna and hair/beauty salon for true pampering head to foot. Constance Halaveli promises to deliver on every aspect to relax and revitalise its privileged guests.
 

Al Bustan Palace's 200 rooms and 50 suites reflect both local Arabian heritage and art deco designs and feature a private balcony and modern facilities.

In addition to the stunning private beach, Al Bustan Palace  boasts a wide variety of facilities including a tennis village with floodlit courts and children’s playground. There are numerous pools, including a 50 metre infinity lap pool and children’s pool, as well as a selection of water sports that include sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars offering a variety of cuisine and ambianc.

Please Note: Building work has started on the new Six Senses Spa. This site is beyond the garden grounds of the hotel and partitioned by a high fence. The first phase of the project will be completed on 11 February. Phase two of the project is expected to begin in mid April 2011, but no disturbance to guests is envisaged. The spa is expected to be completed in 2012.  Please ask for the latest update.

Each of the Bedouin style tents is air conditioned, with en suite shower, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and outdoor sitting area from where you can gaze out across the dunes.

Buffet meals are served in the dining area. The rates include daily breakfast and dinner. Camel riding, dune bashing and quad biking are fun, available ways to experience the surrounding desert during your stay.
