Garden Suites With Private Plunge Pools
Located in estate in the tropical gardens, these spacious rooms offer a great combination of privacy and relaxation. They feature a large terrace with sitting area and a private plunge pool. Each room has a double vanity, shower room, walk-in closet and entertainment system with large flat-screen TV, DVD/CD player and iPod. Some Garden Suites also offer a bathtub and solarium and rooms with two double beds.

Located in the main house, featuring a plunge pool on the spacious terrace, just steps from the beach and the main pool, ipod connection, walk-in closet, and plasma screen TV.
Master Garden Suite
Master Garden Suite Located in the estate's main house, this very private and secluded large suite features a spacious private terrace with plunge pool. The suite is outfitted with a luxurious king bed and airy bathroom with a bathtub and huge shower room.
Ocean View Room
Located in the estate in the main house, where the duchess enjoys watching the seabirds play along the shoreline, this room features a spectacular view of the crisp white beach and the deep blue Caribbean. It has an entertainment system with large flat-screen TVs, DVD/CD players and iPod, plus walk-out terrace, large closet and premium bedding.
Ocean View Suites
Located in the estate in the exclusive main house, these suites feature spectacular views of the Caribbean, private terraces, spacious sitting areas and entertainment systems with large flat-screen TVs, DVD/CD players and iPods. They also have electric window shades to help set the perfect mood and a luxurious king bed.
The Cottages
Nestled in a private area within the estate in the tropical gardens, these two-story cottages feature a high-tech media room with surround sound, large flat-screen TV, CD/DVD players, large living room, outside terrace with dining area and a large swimming pool with sundeck and lounge chairs. The upstairs has a large master bedroom with terrace and sitting area, large bathroom with double vanity, shower room and bathtub and a walk-in closet. There is a second bedroom ideal for children, with two twin beds and separate bathroom.

The 29 rooms and cottages feature high ceilings, crisp white walls and floors, large windows, mahogany louvered doors and native wood furniture. Other features include electric window blinds, iPod docking stations, large bathrooms with rain-shower heads, refrigerator stocked with water, soft drinks and beers and a complimentary continental breakfast is delivered to your room each morning.
The Esencia Estate is located twenty minutes from the lively town of Playa del Carmen, on a 50 acre private estate with a mile long white sand beach. This was once the holiday home of an Italian Duchess and is now a luxury boutique hotel and member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
There are 2 rooms (29 accommodations in total) that would be ideal for your special honeymoon stay; the Torre Deluxe Ocean View and the Rosa Ocean View Master Suite. The first is a beachfront accommodation in the main house which has a 360 degree view of the ocean and jungle canopy. There is a terrace where you can both relax and the panoramic lookout can also be used as a private screening room. The Rosa Ocean View Master Suite is a particularly special suite because it was once used as the Duchess’ room. There is a sitting room with a domed ceiling, an ocean view terrace, sundeck with plunge pool, walk-in closet and spacious bathroom. In all the Esencia accommodations, there is complimentary water, soft drinks and beer in your room as well as, a complimentary continental breakfast which is delivered to your room every morning for added privacy.
During your honeymoon, you and your loved one can enjoy two swimming pools and amazing service from the staff. Yoga and scuba instructors as well as, house butlers are also available. Relax and enjoy all that Esencia’s Aroma Spa has to offer including; face and body treatments. The Spa is located in a quiet area of the estate and it is the first organic spa in the Riviera Maya. There is a Temazcal which the ancient Mexicans would use for cleansing and curing themselves.
At the Esencia estate, most meals can be taken in the Sal y Fuego where the Chef uses fresh local ingredients to create fine food. There are also two hour long cooking classes which you can both try if you wish to learn how to make a six course Mexican menu. In addition, there is a daily meal plan which can be chosen. At breakfast time, you can enjoy breakfast in the shaded pool pavilion in the style of the Duchess who enjoyed gazing out onto the beachfront in the morning.
