Hotel Colon Guanahani

The Hotel Colón Guanahaní is a lovely four star hotel for those seeking peace, good food and great service. It is a popular hotel and has a high number of repeat guests. Hotel Colón Guanahaní is located a few minutes away from the Playa Fañabé and shopping centres in Southern Tenerife and 17km from the International airport. The hotel was recently refurbished and is named after the island, Guanahaní, where Christopher Columbus landed in 1942. The hotel is built in a Colonial yet contemporary design and located close to its sister hotel, Hotel Jardines de Nivaria.

There are 154 rooms at the Hotel Colón Guanahaní; 76 Double Rooms, 69 Superior Doubles, 4 Family Rooms and 5 Suites. All rooms have a telephone, mini bar, satellite television, radio, safety deposit box, hairdryer, balcony or terrace and air conditioning. Three of the Superior Double Rooms are adapted for guests with wheelchairs.

At the Hotel Colón Guanahaní guests can enjoy great food made with fresh ingredients. For breakfast and dinner, dine at the international buffet restaurant where you can sit on the outdoor patio. In the dinner, a buffet is available or the main course can be ordered to your table. The hotel also boasts its own bakery. Several nights a week, there are themed evenings with evening entertainment consisting of folk music at the restaurant. In the daytime, enjoy an á la carte lunch or snacks at the poolside restaurant, La Pergola. Throughout the day and evening, you can also enjoy drinks (including international drinks) at the two bars where shows and live music also take place several times a week. Room service is also offered at the hotel from 8am till 10pm.

There are 2 heated sea water pools set among gorgeous gardens and 2 spacious sun terraces, 1 with an open air Jacuzzi which guests can enjoy.
