Jetwing Lighthouse is set in 7 acres of grounds overlooking the Indian Ocean at Galle in the southwest of Sri Lanka, about 3 hours from Colombo airport.
The rooms all enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the coastline and the hotel's design is influenced by Dutch colonial architecture, also reflected in the interior decor of rooms and suites. Located adjacent to two crescent shaped beaches located either side of the property, the hotel also has a large pool area, a lovely Spa and a choice of sport and leisure activities. For sightseeing, the historic Dutch fortress town of Galle is a little over a mile away, easily reached by local taxi or tuk-tuk!.

Our Opinion: This historic hotel is located on a dramatic peninsula overlooking the ocean. The rooms are large in size and of a good standard. The Lighthouse offers a variety of dining options in a romantic oceanview setting. The resort also offers 2 swimming pools and a spa. Ideal for couples.
