Located in Waduwwa, approximately 2½ hours from Colombo airport, Reef is a gorgeous, boutique beachfront property. The unusual entrance, through tropical foliage and past lily ponds gives the impression of entering a private home.
The seven rooms are located in the main house and set amongst the foliage. Each room is incredibly spacious and elegantly furnished along a Colonial Indian theme with coloured silks and antique Indian pieces. The bathroom is as big as the bedroom and features an amazing free standing granite bathtub, complete with champagne glass holder & book rest!, and separate rainshower.
The main house is set back from the beach so there is plenty of space for relaxing, as well as a small swimming pool. The food at Reef is mouth-watering as are the pre dinner cocktails! For the active there is a tennis court and jogging track. Spa treatments are also available for those who prefer pampering.
Attention to detail and personal service, romance and privacy are the Reef philosophy making this property perfect for honeymooners. Children under 16 year olds are welcome on a request basis. As a small boutique hotel it is unlikely to be appreciated by guests looking for 24 hour room service and a wide variety of facilities, but for those seeking individual attention, understated elegance and the thrill of discovering something very different Reef is highly recommended.

Restaurant - The chef lovingly prepares a variety of Sri Lankan and International favourite dishes, using home-grown vegetables where possible and local fresh ingredients. Private beach or garden dinners or picnics can be arranged on request.
A new Champagne Bar opened July 2011 offering a selection of Champagnes, wines, cocktails and spiritis for pre-dinner aperitifs or cosy evening drinks.
