Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort comprises 78 beautiful Luxury Guestrooms, Luxury Villas and Luxury Beachfront Bungalows. Each of the accommodations feature a plunge pool within a private patio area, complimentary internet access, large flat-screen televisions, iPod docks, a romantic four poster bed and iPads connecting guests directly to resort service. The new Luxury Villas blend colonial and contemporary styles, with four-poster beds, custom made white furniture, claw foot bathtub and oversize plunge pools.
All of the rooms and villas at the resort benefit from a personalised butler service. You will be welcomed on arrival and the butler will offer to unpack for you, provide a laundry service, arrange dinner reservations and organise any other special requirements. You will also be provided with a personalised mobile phone to the butler who will be on call throughout your entire stay.
Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort is one of the finest on St Lucia and is framed either end by the Pitons creating one of the most dramatic scenes on the island. A range of complimentary water sports are on offer that include windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling, other sports facilities include a jogging track, tennis (new astroturf/sand courts were put in place in 2012) and beach volleyball. Take to the water with one of the eleven dives offered by Dive Sugar Beach at the PADI Dive Centre in resort. Younger guests (4-12 years old) can enjoy a range of supervised activities at Generation V such as, glass bottom boat excursions and arts and crafts.
A dedicated Beach Concierge service is available at the poolside and beach and serves a full bar service and favourites such as pizza's, burgers and sandwiches. The resort has adopted a Dine Anywhere, Anytime concept where you can choose from dining on the beach, in the gardens, on the sun deck, pier or on your private terrace, and the chef will devise a personalised menu to suit your taste and the location.
Enjoy casual a la carte dining at The Bayside Restaurant steps away from the powder white sand beach. The Bayside Bar offers a range of wood-fired pizzas and casual bar menu along with an extensive cocktail list. The elegant Great Room evokes Old World colonial charm, serving personalised Caribbean influenced tasting menus for dinner. Afternoon tea is served each afternoon at the Palm Terrace Bar, whilst in the evenings head for the chic and funky Cane Bar or chill out on one of the large white day beds at the Late Night Bar. The Late Night Bar now offers a games room with pool tables, an air hockey table, card table with poker chips, backgammon board and board games. Now open from 10am, head to the Late Night Bar when there is ‘liquid sunshine’.
The brand new Rainforest Spa is a unique feature with seven raised treatment cabanas dotted along a rainforest walk with running streams and open decks where you can relax and listen to nature while enjoying one of Sugar Beach's signature treatments.
Please note: A multi-million dollar refashioning programme has come to an end at Sugar Beach with most public areas having now been completed. Non-hotel related building work to the Sugar Beach Residences continues on the far end of the property and is well away from the beach, pool and restaurants.
Availability is extremely limited at Sugar Beach in all room categories until mid April 2013. Luxury Sugar Mill and Superior Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms are fully booked until July with the exception of mid - late April 2013.

The Great Room - Evoking old world charm, The Great Room serves Caribbean influenced delacacies by candlelight. Personlised tasting menus are also available or choose from the main menu with items such as succulent seared scallops on a puree of Jerusalem artichoke, tender Kobe beef with a rich red wine jus, and perfectly cooked Mahi-Mahi with green fig mash and tropical salsa.

Bayside Restaurant - Set on the beautiful white Sugar Beach, The Bayside Restaurant offers a la carte dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy breakfast while taking in one of the most spectacular views in the Caribbean of the mighty pitons. Lunch time favourites such as gourmet pizzas baked in the wood-fired oven and grilled catch of the day. Dinner time there is a myriad of menu selections and upbeat live entertainment. A beach BBQ dinner option is available every Friday.
