Buccament Bay Resort is St Vincent's newest and most luxurious resort and spa and winner of two World Travel Awards in 2012! Built to the highest specification the resort offers state-of-the-art facilities and is the first 5 star luxury resort on the beautiful and unspoilt Caribbean island of St Vincent.
Buccament Bay opened on 3rd April 2011, and comprises 125 One, Two and Four Bedroom Villas, the Liverpool Football Club Soccer School, Pat Cash Tennis Academy, Diving and Watersports from Indigo Dive, The Spa by ESPA, a fitness centre, kids club, beach bar, beachfront infinity pool plus a further children's pool.
Each villa boasts a spacious living with high, vaulted wood ceilings that open to a private deck and plunge pool. Decor is modern and contemporary with bedrooms featuring 40'' LCD televisions, bathrooms with power showers and living rooms with iPod docking stations, espresso coffee makers and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi access.
Set on a beautiful curve of sand, Buccament Bay Resort is perfect for those seeking rest and relaxation, however for the more active holiday there are a multitude of facilities and activities to choose from. Visit the underwater world with Indigo Dive, offering dive packages for certified divers and PADI dive courses for beginners. Other watersports include kayaking, dolphin and whale watching, motorised watersports and snorkelling.
The Harlequin Sports Academy offers expert football and tennis coaching for both children and adults and includes the Pat Cash Tennis Academy and the Liverpool Football Club Soccer School.
Harlequin Performing Arts Academy will offer voice, acting and movement coaching by professionals from the West End and Broadway in master classes based on popular hit musicals.
The Spa at Buccament Bay Resort offers treatments by ESPA, featuring four separate treatment suites as well as massages on the outdoor Thai Pavilion. A well equipped fitness centre comprises a range of cardiovascular and physical training equipment and offers a range of exercise classes and sports training programmes.
Buccament Bay offers plenty of choice when it comes to dining, with three full service restaurants, a sushi bar, two cafes and three bars. The Bamboo is a casual beachfront restaurant offering Caribbean style buffet starters and a la carte Italian dishes and pizza and Caribbean Lobster BBQ's. Buffet beach BBQ's are offered at the Beach Grill during the day time whilst the Bay Beach Club Restaurant and Bar serves casual all day beach dining for lunch and dinner. Enjoy takeaway sushi sashimi in Bento Boxes or sample Indian delicacies for dinner at the Saffran Restaurant.
Throughout the year a number of football and tennis legends will be resident in Buccament and you will have the opportunity to meet these stars who are available for group coaching sessions in the resort. Sporting legends that visited Buccament Bay in 2012 included David Fairclough, Pat Cash and Gareth Southgate.
Buccament Bay is being developed in stages, with additional facilities and restaurants opening throughout the year. The main hotel building is complete and is scheduled to open 2013 when the new International Airport on St Vincent will also open. Once all the hotel rooms and villas are open Buccament Bay will offer a total of 368 rooms. Please note that no resort facilities are being affected as a result of the work and that work is only taking place daily from 9am - 12pm.
