Palm Island

St Vincent & Grenadines

An idyllic 135 tropical acre all inclusive retreat, fringed by five pristine beaches and beautiful turquoise waters. The 43 Caribbean-styled rooms and suites are dotted along the beach with most opening onto the sand and boasting dramatic views of sparkling waters and the mountain peak on nearby Union Island.

Each air-conditioned guest room has a Caribbean feel with such touches as rattan furnishings and linens. The rooms boast spacious sun decks, patios or elegant verandas.

Of course, most of your time will be spent a few yards away in the cool waters of the Caribbean or on the glorious white sand beach. Do as much or as little as you like. The emphasis is on informality and tranquility. Lie on the beach and read a
book, or if you’re feeling energetic and adventurous, enjoy tennis, nature trails, snorkeling, sunfish sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving as well as many day trips and sailing excursions to neighbouring islands.

Dining at Palm Island is a unique experience. The delightfully casual Sunset Grill restaurant serves fresh fish from local waters, prepared in a traditional West Indian style. The signature Royal Palm restaurant offers a seamless blend of unpretentious sophistication and Caribbean warmth.

Palm Island is a private island escape where comfort and hospitality combine to ward off the pressures of daily life, and prides itself on its unpretentious and relaxed ambiance.

Children are welcome year round except  3 January - 24 April 2012.

What is there to love about St. Vincent & the Grenadines? Lots, starting off with the Carnival, get into the rhythm and dance your heart away. Visit the majestic, lush green Mount Soufriere volcano and take advantage of the secluded white sand beaches.

Another exciting must do is take a sailing trip to Tobago Cays, used for the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean, either for a day or extend for an overnight trip.
