Spread over 18 acres of land and overlooking a 250 metre stretch of beach, the Vijitt Resort enjoys stunning views across Chalong Bay and the Coral Islands.
Vijitt Resort comprises of 92 spacious stand alone villas all dotted around the gently sloping forested land. Each villa comes with a private entrance leading to a small garden, spacious living and bedroom area and a terrace. Guests can choose between the standard villa or private villas with a pool (available in One and Two Bedroom configurations), with each one providing generous space and panoramic views of the ocean. The design throughout the villas the resort is based on clean and neutral colours, with luxurious teak wood finishes and an apparent influence of Southern Thai architecture throughout.
The property itself is located in Rawai along the secluded Friendship Beach, 1 hour from the airport, 15 minutes to Phuket town and 40 minutes to Patong Beach. The Vijitt Resort enjoys views across Chalong Bay, Lon and Coral Islands, with the site retaining much of original charm by incorporating the mature palms, fruit and other indigenous flora into the overall design. The bay in-front of the hotel is excellent for snorkeling and there is also a frequent shuttle service which operates to the nearby beach everyday.
Facilities available at the hotel include a choice of 2 main restaurants, a beach bar, in-villa dining, wine cellar and cafe serving snacks and choice of beverages. Of special mention, the Baan Vijitt restaurant is a Sino-Portuguese style house, which was the original residence to the Vijitt family and provides a traditional Thai dining experience with a contemporary twist on some regional specialties.
