Blue Waters Inn 

From the deep blue of the Atlantic, to the brilliant green of Tobago’s lush hills, Blue Waters Inn enjoys a picture perfect location.  Located well away from the island’s main tourist area, it is tucked neatly into its own private bay on Tobago’s north-east coast.

The resort’s extensive grounds attract many birds and there is easy access to Tobago’s protected Main Ridge forest reserve, Little Tobago (Bird of Paradise Island) and the St. Giles Island, home to the largest seabird colony in the Southern Caribbean.

This low-rise  beachfront property is informal and comfortable with rooms overlooking the ocean. All hotel rooms have air-conditioning and have recently been refurbished. The resort has 31 standard rooms and 3 bungalows with either one or two bedrooms, each with kitchen, dining room, living room, and a large porch.

There are four self-catering apartments with either one or two bedrooms. All rooms have a private shower and balcony or porch. The hotel’s small restaurant specialises in seafood alongside Caribbean and International cuisine, while The Shipwreck beach bar is a relaxing place to unwind of an evening.

Life at this remote property is easy going and informal, offering idyllic swimming and bathing from Batteaux Bay, a private, sheltered horseshoe shaped bay. This resort is a true haven for nature lovers, scuba divers and bird watchers with snorkelling right off the beach. Blue Waters Inn offers kayaking and tennis and can arrange kayak tours, yoga and trips on glass bottom boats and to the different bird sanctuaries.

The hotel and its nearest village, Speyside, are remotely located amongst lush rainforest in the beautiful north of the island so a hire car or jeep for exploring is strongly recommended.
