Moore Ranch is a family working ranch situated in southwest Kansas, just 45 miles from the historic Dodge City. The ranch work is done the old-fashioned cowboy way, raising Texas Longhorn cattle year round. The ranch is open 07 April - 08 October and is located on 4,500 acres of rolling hills and praires.
A regular day at the ranch will see guests awake at sunrise to the sound of the roosters crowing, followed by a hearty breakfast, saddling up the horses, riding ranch horses through the Longhorn herd, herding the cattle to new pastures and riding over the prairie. Meals at the ranch are home cooked.
There is not a specific childrens program, but kids are welcome from 8yrs onwards. (no child discount)
