The Anglers Boutique Hotel

This gorgeous boutique hotel is set on Washington Avenue between 6th and 7th Streets in South Beach. Hidden behind lush tropical foilage, The Anglers Boutique Resort offers an experience of sophisticated island living.

Built in the 1930's, the two original Mediterranean Revival buildings stood out in the neighbourhood where art deco architecture was the norm. Anglers used to be a favourite haunt of Ernest Hemingway among others. The hotel has been bought back to its original splendour and offers a unique relaxed atmosphere in an elegant setting, only two blocks from Ocean Drive and a short walk from the restaurants of Espanola Way and Lincoln Road.

The 45 rooms and suites are housed in the two original Mediterranean inspired buildings plus two new buildings that house the Duplex and Villa Suites. Each of the spacious accommodations are different in size and layout but all ofer the same bright and airy space, with a true seaside feel with bamboo flooring and shuttered windows.

Tower Duplex Suites are perfect for those on longer stays in Miami, featuring a living area on the ground floor and bedroom reached via a spiral staircasae on the first floor. The cozy living area feature a full size sofa and two armchairs, bamboo wood floor and entertainment system with surround sound. The Manor Villa feature two storey one bedroom villa suites and are housed in the original owners villa, these villa suites either have a view of the main pool or feature a large private terrace with Jacuzzi.

The weather in Miami lends to outdoor living perfectly so the Anglers Boutique Resort has made great use of its outdoor space. The hotel features an outdoor pool with outdoor private cabanas and luxurious pool furniture, along with a lovely outdoor dining area perfect for an informal meal, or romantic candlelit dinner for two. For those that prefer to see the world go by, the restaurant spills out on the the pavement with a comfortable covered seating area at the front of the hotel, great for a leisurely breakfast  or lunchtime treat with a wonderful Mediterranean, Latin American and Cuban inspired menu.
