Rosewood Little Dix Bay, on Virgin Gorda, has one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. A reef protects against tides and currents, creating exceptional swimming conditions, safe for children and great for snorkelling, sailing and watersports.
The under-stated luxury of the 100 guest rooms at Little Dix is in complete harmony with the beautiful setting. Textured woven fabrics, island stone and tiles give character and style. Many of the rooms are situated in the abundant gardens and have shaded patios where you can stretch out in a hammock at your ease. Positioned favourably along the slopes beside the bay are more rooms with balconies offering the opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary, ever-changing light and colour of the Caribbean.
Recent additions include luxury two, three and four bedroom villas, two of which are situated just steps from the half-mile long beach, while six hilltop villas are designed to maximise the views. In addition to over-sized living and dining areas, the villas have spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers, private pools and dining pavilion/barbeque areas.
As well as the open-air Pavilion dining room, there is the intimate Sugar Mill reminiscent of old Caribbean plantations, serving meals with a Caribbean flavour. The newly remodelled Beach Grill is situated adjacent to the resort’s private dock just steps off the beach, serving light lunches such as ceviche, salads and tropical fruit plates.
For the fitness fanatics there is a new state of the art fitness centre with cardiovascular equipment, Cybex weight machines and free weights. Sense, a Rosewood Spa, is an idyllic retreat perched high on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean and offering the world’s finest beauty and recuperative treatments.
Children are also catered for with the addition of the Children’s Grove. Set in the shade of mahogany trees, this is where the little ones can listen to pirate tales, calypso music, take part in children’s yoga, nature hikes and tropical arts and crafts.
Water-taxis, included in the price, are available to take you to secluded beaches on nearby islands.

Rosewood Junior Suites
The newest addition to Rosewood Little Dix Bay, these suites enjoy breathtaking ocean views and feature a large outdoor living area accessed through French doors leading off the master bedroom. The en suite bathroom has separate bath and shower as well as an outdoor garden shower.

The Villas
Rosewood Little Dix Bay has a number of two, three and four bedroom villas, tucked away in the most private areas of the resort with sweeping views of the ocean. These villas feature over-sized living and dinings areas, spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers, televisions and DVD players int he living area, spacious outdoor living and dining areas and private pools. The two bedroom villas are beach front, the three bedroom villas offer either beach front or hilltop locations and the four bedroom villas offer magnificent views over the Virgin Islands from their hilltop locations.
The Beach Grill - Located adjacent the resort's private dock and only steps away from the beach. This causal grill offers apetising menus that feature local ingredients from the land and sea and include cold soups, salads, sandwiches, grilled burgers and pizzas.
Opening hours: Most days between 11:30am - 6:00pm
The Pavilion - Located at the heart of the resort, this thatched roofed pavilion offer indoor and outdoor seating with full height folding doors creating an open-air restaurant. Elaborate breakfasts, buffet lunches, hot entrees and meat and fish items are grilled to order. A Grand Caribbean Buffet is served every Monday night while an a la carte menu is served the rest of the week, with specialities that include Conch Chowder, Grilled Anegada Lobster and Local Mahi with Coconut-Lime Broth.
The Sugar Mill - An intimate restaurant offering panoramic views of the sea and verdant island surroundings. The Sugar Mills serves up an eclectic fusion of contemporary Pan-Asian and European dishes as well as a tasting menu paired with fine wines.
