This high country escape is situated on 1,000 private acres set at an altitude of 8,200 feet between Vail and Steamboat Springs. The ranch is open from 30 May 2010 - 19 Sep 2010, the ranch week starts and ends on a Sunday. The riding programme is unlimited and caters to novices and experts (they allow loping), with all day rides and shorter rides through the extensive trail system in the Routt National Forest.

There is also the chance to join the cowboys as they move the herd of Texas Longhorns through the Colorado High Country. This full day out takes in roping practice, instruction and often includes branding.

Adult only weeks are available on the following dates, where shorter stays are possible: 24 May - 13 June, 29 August - 19 September 2010.

Kids are catered for by counselors, who provide special activities for kids all ages including riding, hiking, fishing, crafts and nature walks. Baby sitting is available. There are no televisions or videos available on the ranch.

The Ranch Saloon is a fully liscensed and is a great place to unwind after a ride. Meals vary from cookouts in the wilderness to gourmet cuisine in the lodge including a choice of entrees at dinner along with complimentary wine at the dinner table
