I was swept away by the beautiful power white sand beaches, the calm warn seas and the great hospitability. The food is great in Mauritius with lots of sea food and Indian influences. People do not realise how much there is to do in Mauritius. You do not have to stay in your resort if you don’t want to you.
You can ride quad bikes, go horse riding, visit local temples, walks in the indigenous forest, shopping in Port Louis, dinner and a dance in Grand Baie and that’s not even mentioning the array of water based activities the island has to offer. The climate is great to visit all year round with May-October being the coolest time to visit.
