Today, while you still get the authentic taste of cowboy life – riding out on horseback, driving cattle across the wide open prairies, cooking on a campfire – there’s also the modern touches we all now expect, such as internet and phone access from your ranch guest cabin, laundry services, and – best of all after a long day in the saddle – hot showers.
My most memorable ranch holiday was in Wyoming when we went on an overnight pack trip. Wyoming, with its endless plains and towering mountain ranges, is known as the cowboy state, and being able to go back to nature there was a wonderful experience.
For so many people, a North American ranch experience is not just a holiday, it’s fulfilling a dream, and I get great satisfaction from helping them fulfil that.
