I started out in my career working for a Spanish tour operator specialising in all of Spain and Portugal, but since joining Western & Oriental five years ago I have been able to broaden my horizons to take in the rest of Europe, parts of North Africa and most recently Dubai and Oman.
I do enjoy visiting the resorts we feature and experiencing them first hand so I can give my clients my honest opinion about destinations and who they best cater for.
As a result, though, it is very hard for me to choose my most memorable travel experience – there have been so many! I loved Egypt and the Nile cruise. All that history going back 7,000 years - and their temples and pyramids are a vision with their grandeur and the mystery of how they were built.
I also love Italy as I was able to have a quick glimpse of every city that we travel to, and each one had so much culture and own special attractions.
But I can say my favourite destination is the Greek Islands, in particular Santorini and Mykonos. All three have these vital things in common – good food, great beaches and crystal clear water; perfect for a relaxing break.
