About Erica Moore

For me, working in travel is the perfect opportunity to learn about and experience new destinations – and then go on to share that knowledge with clients to create what could be a once in a lifetime holiday.

I have been part of the team at Western & Oriental for three years, having previously worked for another tour operator for nine years and for an airline General Sales Agent before that. I specialise in the Far East, Indian Ocean, Middle East and the Caribbean, which means I have been lucky enough to enjoy some amazing places and experiences.

These are too many to mention, but learning to scuba dive in the turquoise waters of the Maldives, riding an elephant in Thailand and discovering the lush beauty of the Grenadine Islands in the Caribbean are just a few memorable travel experiences that spring to mind.

When it comes to where my heart belongs though, it must be Mauritius, because I have family there, and Thailand, where I spent my honeymoon.

The places I would most like to visit now are China and Hong Kong, just to experience for myself a taste of their amazing history and culture.
