Having worked at Western and Oriental  for over 6 years I couldn’t think of a more rewarding job.  After finishing university I embarked on an 18 month adventure travelling though South East Asia, spending my time seeing the sights of Bangkok, lazing on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world & travelling through Laos, which was like stepping back in time before heading to Australia.

I would never have imagined that years later I would still be able to combine my passion for travel with my job, but this time around staying in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world!

Over the past few years I have visited many of the Caribbean islands, including St Lucia, Barbados, Jamaica and Cuba.  Cuba was one of my favourites, with beautiful architecture, classic cars, friendly people and a lively music scene.  The Caribbean is a great destination if, like me, you want to escape the British winter for some sunshine, with direct flights under 10 hours away. 

Next on my list to visit is Borneo, to see Orang-utans in the wild, take river trips through the rainforest, before unwinding on one of their beautiful beaches.
