Don't miss out on a few days in Bangkok on your Thailand holiday. This vibrant city offers culture, history and fabulous cuisine. While the guys become masters of boxing on a Muay Thai boxing training day, girls can shop till they drop and still not have visited half of the city's stores - it truly is a shopaholic's paradise. A few days in Bangkok can be added to any Thailand beach escape.

Both Bali and Lombok are stunning islands surrounded by beautiful coral beaches, colourful Hindu temples and the clear aqua blue sea.
The best thing about Bali and Lombok is it’s serenity, it fills your soul up with a wonderful calmness.

Stepping into Jakarta city is like stepping into the future. The streets are pristine, not surprisingly, since the fine for littering is $500! The malls are fabulous, equipped with every type of shop known to man.
Festivals occur throughout the year, one not to miss is Chingay Parade welcoming the New Year in February and another is the Hindu Festival of Thaipusam, where you’ll see devout Hindus piercing their bodies in honour of their Hindu god, Thaipusam.

Borneo is one of the most bio-diverse places on earth. Where else can you see Orang-Utans in the wild, watch Probiscus monkeys playing and take a cruise up the Kinabatangan River?
You can even spend a night or two in a Riverside Lodge, allowing you to explore further in to the jungle and really experience life in the rainforest by taking a Canopy Walk!
Mount Kinabalu offers a fantastic experience if you are interested in climbing too. The wildlife and cultural diversity on offer here is truly amazing.
The beach is not too far to stop by and relax after all that hard sightseeing! You can also have a few nights in Kuala Lumpur too, a city not to be missed for shopping and more stunning scenery and wildlife.

Last winter, I booked myself in at the Soneva Kiri Resort on the island of Koh Kood in Thailand. The resort was surrounded by a large tropical rainforest which added to its exoticness and tranquility.
I opted for some ayurdevic therapy and a deep tissue massage. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, best of all, looked out to the clear blue ocean. Absolute bliss!

Bali is known as the Island of the Gods, and I definitely agree. It is a beautiful island in Indonesia, where the beaches are sandy, and people are kind and amazing. The scenery in Bali is out of this world. Bali is also home to many beautiful temples and when you visit the island, Tanah Lot Temple at sunset is must see!
I would also recommend spending a few days in the Ubud, a town in the heart of Bali. Ubud is a beautiful town surrounded by rice paddy fields, art galleries, boutique shops, a local market, spa’s and various different local restaurants with top quality food. Why not also spend a few hours in the Monkey Forest where you can buy banana’s outside the forest and feed the long tailed balinese macaques.
If you are a surf enthusiast, Bali has some of the best surfing waves areas in the world. If you want to experience some of Bali's nightlife, the Kuta and Legian area has many bars and nightclubs.

Walk amongst the most chilled out people in the world, the Buddhist monks, as you pick up your souvenirs, spend the afternoon gazing at the great temple of Angkor Wat and stop by for a drink at the pretty riverside location of Siem Reap.
You will undoubtedly return with some of its magic.

The lush green fields of the Mekong Delta, the powder white beaches of Phu Qoc island and the grand palaces, temples and picturesque pagodas all await for you in this vibrant kingdom.

Hong Kong is an exciting destination and would highly recommend it to be included in any trip to South East Asia whether it is for a city break or part of an extended trip to Bali, Malaysia or Thailand.
Much can be packed into this lively city and getting around is simple through a network of buses, the underground, trams and my favourite the Star Ferry operating between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island with journey's taking around 30 minutes.
A must on anyone’s itinerary is taking in the peak tram to Victoria Peak for the most spectacular views of Hong Kong at day or night. At the peak there are a number of shopping and dining opportunities, book a table at Cafe Deco in advance for amazing views of the skyline.
Whilst visiting Hong Kong a trip to Stanley market is a great way to see Hong Kong Island beaches and other attractions including Aberdeen Fishing Harbour. On most nights in Hong Kong there is a spectacular laser show called the symphony of lights, best viewing is on Kowloon side, try and take this in on one of your nights out. If you like shopping, Hong Kong will fulfil all your requirements with fantastic shopping malls and wonderful night markets.

Vientiane, pleasantly resembles a sleepy village, than a capital. Its French connection is obvious in the stately French mansions and quaint streets lined across the city.
Grab your lunch from one of the piping hot noodle stalls and then jump on a song-teow to view the city’s highlights - Wat Sisket, That Luang and Buddha Park.
