In the cemetery here lie the remains of Eva Perón.

Districts to look out for are the Palermos – Palermo Hollywood, Palermo Soho and Palermo Viejo – a stunning middle class area, full of cafes and stunning residential homes. What not to miss is a trip to the Recoleta neighbourhood, where the formerly rich and famous had chosen to rest and San Telmo, the home of tango and also host to one of Latin America’s biggest antiques fair every Sunday.
On the dining out front, there are many cheap options, parillas (steak restaurants) are available all over BA, for all budgets serving excellent beef and pork, accompanied by some excellent home grown Malbec. A foodie’s paradise!
