This exceptional journey explores five of India’s greatest National Parks – Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Panna and Satpura. Your experience will be further enhanced by staying in some of the most stylish safari camps. It is no wonder that Kipling was inspired to write The Jungle Book when he visited this area.
HIGHLIGHTS
One of the largest national parks in India, Kanha is the ideal habitat for many varieties of wildlife. From forests with bamboo, grassy plateaux and meadows in the valley, this park is a wonderful place to view game. Made famous as the setting for Kipling’s The Jungle Book, it has a large population of tigers and leopards as well as swamp deer. Bandhavgarh is a small park with high tiger population, once the private hunting reserve of the Maharaja of Rewa, while Satpura is a lesser known park of unspoilt wilderness. Enjoy unique safari experiences on foot, canoe and elephant.
