HIGHLIGHTS
With eight World Heritage Sites and the fascinating cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, Kathmandu Valley is a treasure trove of rich culture and extraordinary sights. Chitwan National Park is a World Heritage Site situated in the sub-tropical inner Terai lowlands of southern Nepal, one of the last bastions of the one horned rhinoceros and home to more than 700 different species of wildlife. The hour long flight over the world’s highest mountain range is an unforgettable experience. Take in views of the Kathmandu Valley and the landscapes of Nepal and journey across the world’s highest peaks, including Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga.

Itinerary

Day 1

Fly from London

Depart from Heathrow with Etihad Airways for your flights to Kathmandu via Abu Dhabi
Day 2

Arrive Kathmandu

Met upon arrival and transferred to the Dwarika’s where you stay for three nights. Afternoon City tour of Kathmandu including the famous Durbar Square which is a World Heritage Site and Swayambhunath temple. The royal palaces reveal secret courtyards and hidden gardens.
Day 3

Bhaktapur

Afternoon tour of the medieval 13th century town of Bhaktapur.(B)
Day 4

Kathmandu

Free day to visit the other sites of this fascinating city. Optional mountain flight over Mount Everest. (B)
Day 5

Fly to Chitwan

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Meghauli in Chitwan. Met upon arrival and transfer to Tharu Lodge where you stay for 2 nights. Chitwan National Park is a World Heritage Site located in the sub-tropical inner Terai lowlands of southern Nepal. It is home to 700 different species of wildlife. (B,L,D)
Day 6

Chitwan

Full day of jungle activities, including elephant rides in the Chitwan National Park and a boat ride along the Narayani river spotting Gharials. (B,L,D)
Day 7

Drive to Pokhara

Afternoon drive to Pokhara. Your stay is at the Tiger mountain Lodge. Evening boatride at the beautiful Lake Phewa where Pokhara is located. (B,L,D).
Day 8

Tour of Pokhara

Morning drive to Sarangkot for views of the famous Annapurnas and the Macchapuchere. Deep river ravines, caves and waterfalls add to the beauty of this valley, the natural home of the Gurkhas. Afternoon tour of the city. (B,L,D)
Day 9

Fly to Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for flight to Kathmandu. Day to catch up on your last minute shopping in Kathmandu.(B)
Day 10

Fly from Nepal

Depart for London with Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi.(B)
