Mai Chau Tour

Arrive and transfer to the Melia Hanoi for your overnight stay. [B]

Drive to Ky Son Village in the morning. Take a pleasant walk around the village to delve into the northern countryside lifestyle of Vietnam before joining your homestay host in lunch preparation.

During lunch learn more about the Vietnamese culture through conversations with your host family. In the afternoon, you will set out on a bike ride along dust trails with stops made along the way for taking pictures, picking herbs and vegetables, chatting with children and farmers, and shopping at the village market, whilst soaking up the pastoral atmosphere and divine tranquillity.

Return to your homestay for a relaxing traditional herbal bath before dinner time. Before turning in for the night, soak your feet in a traditional herbal basin prepared by your host family. [L,D]

Before breakfast, join your host for a practice session of Yi Jin Jing (a series of exercises coordinated with specific breathing techniques and mental concentration) whilst enjoying the scenic views. After breakfast, you will be driven for Mai Chau.

Check-in at your Superior Hotel in Mai Chau and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will then take a light bike ride through rice paddies through the Mai Chau Valleys, dotted with stilt houses and many photographic opportunities. The ride also offers great opportunities to interact with local families and visiting smaller villages within the Mai Chau area. On your return trip to your Superior Hotel in Mai Chau, you will pass by Vang Village of Mai Chau Town for a quick visit.

Overnight in your Superior Hotel in a Deluxe Room on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner is also included within the itinerary for your stay in Mai Chau. [B,L,D]

Drive to Xam Khoe Village where you will set out for a 2-3 hour walking tour to the Thai minority village named Buoc. After your walk through Buoc, transfer back to Mai Chau where en-route you will be able to enjoy some rewarding panoramic view of the Mai Chau Valleys for the last time.

After lunch at your hotel in Mai Chai, transfer back to Hanoi where the tour ends. [B,L]
